The BKNJXV Executive Board would like to thank Alex and Jon (and all those who work with them at Krakatoa) for the GREAT products they produce! We have been spreading the word about Krakatoa for 4 years now, and as you can see by our photo, we LOVE our Krakatoas!

We recommend their products to everyone we meet (Well, Those With Balls certainly!) and can attest that no matter how hot the weather, Krakatoas will keep you dry and comfortable all day! The softest of materials (Micromodal - spun by the gods!), and with a signature waistband to let those who see it know you are a man of distinction! Not your average pair (review). They are worth your time and money!
I love these underwear. All of them. I'm 46, 6'1", 200 lbs, and a size medium. I have bad eczema. Worse when I was a kid, but I can't go swimming because the moisture makes my skin break out. Hot and humid days are torture. My thighs, back of knees, inside of elbows, and arm pits. But the worst is my groin area. A red fiery rash that hurts with every step. All day. Everyday. Every step. It's quite painful. Such a simple thing as underwear, was a nightmare most of my life. Always chaffing even more with every step. I spent so much money on countless powders, lotions, Anti chafe sticks, and prescription ointments. But 2 years ago... I found Krakatoa.
I share all this because such a simple thing as these underwear, made my life better. I can't be the only one. Alex and Jon have improved my life without ever knowing me. Thank you. I now own so many Krakatoa's. Haleakala, Anti Gravity, and now Pinatubo. They never ride up or roll down. But they do keep you cradled and separated all day long. I don't have any Vesuvious, because you can probably tell, I don't need the Caldera pouch LOL! But I'm good with me. I'm surprised there aren't more reviews and photos. Be good with you. Better than I expected!
To be honest, I had close yo zero confidence that these underwear were going to be any different than all the other brands that made the sane claims. I must say that I'm shocked! The legs don't ride up my thighs. I've hiked over 50 miles in a pair, and no chafing. The waistband does not fold over because of my gut. I have no idea how you did it. I dare you to improve it!!! I don't think you can.

Backpacking and River Plunge Approved
After wearing them a few times I decided to take them on a 3 day, 2 night backpacking trip. I did some cold plunging in the river with them and just let them air dry for a bit before throwing my pants back on over top of them.
I was super impressed with how well they dried off and how comfortable they were for the extended timeframe of use. Will be buying several more pairs.

Great for guys who aren't packing much!!
They feel comfortable and the legs don't seem to ride up very much. I'm very happy with the support it offers and it cradles everything. Even if you have a small penis these underwear make it look great unlike other pairs on here. 10/10

My buddy told me that these are the best underwear I would buy. I went ahead and purchased one pair, but didn't check the size chart first. Because of my error I ended up with a pair that was 3 sizes too big (totally my fault). Anyway, I called Krakatoa and they gave me full store credit for what I spent. I went ahead and bought a 3 pack in my size. All I gotta say is, my buddy was 100% right, Krakatoa underwear is the absolute best underwear on the market for men. It's crazy! I always had trouble with the legs riding up and the band folding over. The claim was that Krakatoa underwear wouldn't do either and they are totally right! So look, yes, paying $34 a pair for underwear seems like a lot, but imma tell you right now, it is totally worth it. If you are reading this review right now and your thinking, "I am just so tired of pulling the legs down on my boxer briefs", its time for an upgrade. Seriously, I've done the whole jig of just buying new underwear of the brand I've used forever and yeah, its ok for a little while, but it wears out pretty quick and your back to having the legs ride up get bunched up around your junk. It sucks! I'm telling you that I have been that guy for the past 20 years, but no longer. Now I am only buying Krakatoa! To the service team who helped me out on the front end with getting store credit for my error in sizing, thank you so much for sticking in there with me and for your kindness. I’ve been on a quest to find the perfect pair of underwear for several years now. I’ve found some that were really comfortable, but had no color choices other than black. Impressed to say the least
I went the last 20 years going commando. To say I hate underwear is an understatement. I have young kids in the house again and I keep getting inadvertently hit you know where. So I thought it would be a good idea to try again. These do not have the problems that make me hate underwear so much. Krakatoa has answered pretty much every engineering problem. They don’t ride up, the band doesn’t flip, they breathe well and stay cool. Most importantly they keep you from sticking to yourself. The pouch keeps everything in one place and supported. One thing that surprised me considerably is the fly. I used their 50% off the first pair to try them so I decided to get a pair with a fly even though I’ve never really used them in traditional underwear. It works perfectly, the horizontal fly is the way to go. Easy to get to, easy to put away. You can do it one handed even. No having to wrestle it out of there. They’ve been keeping me safe from inadvertent injuries as well. To say I’m impressed is an understatement. After 20 years of going commando I’m back to wearing them again. I bought 7 more pairs a week later.

Love the Pinatubo's!!
Alex & Team...I recently took advantage of the discount that you offered on the pinatubo's and ordered 3 of the colors in the 7" bb that I did not already have. The pinatubo's offer a bit more support than the vesuvius, but again offer an awesome combination of fit, feel, and awesome comfort. And after taking Alex's advice to try the 7 inch boxer briefs there is absolutely no ride up...thank you again Alex for this recommendation. I believe that I have about every color in the 7 inch boxer briefs for the vesuvius, pinatubo, and the haleakala so it's something different every day but always supreme comfort.
