Krakatoa Questions:

How do I care for my Krakatoa?

Krakatoa is quite resistant to shrinking and fading, but machine-washing them in cold water using the delicate setting and drying in low heat will keep them looking fresher for longer.

Please do not bleach, iron, or dry clean your boxer briefs or trunks. You can also wash it by hand and lay it flat to dry, for great results.

What is Krakatoa made of?

Our undies are made with MicroModal, a bio-based fabric that is ultra-soft, 50 percent more breathable than cotton and cooler to the touch. Also, MicroModal inhibits bacterial growth naturally, so you can even skip a shower or two without smelling like you have a dead skunk in your pants.

Where are your products made?

We searched all over the world for the best manufacturer for our men’s undies. Seriously. Several factories from different countries sent us samples based on our design to create the most comfortable boxer briefs, trunks and possible. Just one made the cut (no pun intended).

Our manufacturing partner is one of the most successful underwear factories in China, proudly earning an ISO 9001:2008 certification and known for its impeccable track record regarding its artisans, besides their exceptional craftsmanship.

Do you test any of your boxer briefs on animals?

Oh yes. On ourselves here at the office and on some good-willing friends. A bunch of animals. Good ones, though.

Do you ever change your prices?

At Krakatoa, we strive to offer you the highest quality men’s undies at the best value possible by verticalizing our production and sales channels. We design them ourselves here in the United States, choose the best manufacturers to produce them and sell directly to you, without a middleman. As we grow, we work smarter to be more effective and pass the savings to you, and make our products even better.

Sometimes, the price of raw materials or labor fluctuate depending on global conditions that are out of our control. Therefore, we may need to adjust prices to keep our high quality standards, by either small price increases or smaller discounts. But you can be sure we are never going to compromise on our commitment to bring you the most comfortable boxer briefs we can make.

What's my Krakatoa size?

Krakatoa is built for comfort, so it might run a bit roomier than your usual men’s undies.

We decided that is better to err on the side of a less constricting waistband and a larger pouch than squeeze you in all the wrong places. It doesn't mean it will be loose on your body, just that our high quality waistband fits differently than from other undies, and the stretchy characteristic of our fabric will wrap you less tightly.

If it doesn't fit you the way you want it, no worries! Drop us a line at support@krakatoaunderwear.com and we will send you another size free of charge. Our goal is to make sure you are absolutely happy with it.

For your first pair of men’s undies (Boxer Brief, Trunk), we’ll provide a full return or exchange within 90 days - no questions asked. Please email support@krakatoaunderwear.com to get started.

 

Payment Questions:

We accept all major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. We also accept PayPal Express Checkout and Apple Pay.

All prices are shown in the United States Dollar (USD). 

Sorry, we do not accept personal checks or money orders.

Who's 'Stripe' and why is it on my credit card statement?

Stripe is one of our payment partners. In some cases, you will see 'Stripe' (or a variation of Stripe) on your credit card statement for the first 24 hours.

After that (usually within a day), UndiesForever should appear on your statement in its place. If you have any questions or concerns about this, just send us a message and we can help confirm your order.

There is a $1 charge on my bank statement - what’s that about?

Don’t worry, that $1 is merely a holding charge. As soon as your order is shipped out, you will be charged for the correct amount of your total order, and that $1 will vanish without a trace. It's just a way banks talk to each other to see that we - and you - are legit.

 

Order Questions:

What if I need to cancel or change an order?

We process orders as quickly as we can, but we’ll do our best to accommodate any changes to your order. The fastest way to change or cancel an order is to email us at support@krakatoaunderwear.com. We will answer as soon as possible and work with you.

What’s my order status?

After your order has shipped, you will receive an email with your shipment's tracking number. Use it to track your package from our warehouse directly to your door. Oh, the sweet pain of the wait.

 

Shipping Questions:

Where do you ship?

We ship all orders from our warehouse to all over the US, including PO Boxes and all military locations via their APO, FPO, and DPO addresses. We ship Internationally to several countries, but we are not responsible for import taxes or fees when the package arrives in your country.

How much does shipping cost?

You get free shipping USPS First Class on any US orders over $30 and Priority Shipping on anything over $50. Canada has free shipping on orders above US$50, and International shipping for select countries at US$12 per package.

How long does it take for my order to arrive?

Domestic orders usually arrive within 2-7 business days. International orders are dependent on their own Post services and can take from a couple weeks to months, depending on the country. 

Something to note:

Orders typically take 1-2 business days to be processed before shipping.

For subscription orders and during major holidays, orders take 1-3 business days to be processed before shipping.

 

Return / Refund Questions:

What is Krakatoa No Bullshit Guarantee on your first pair of underwear?

On your first pair of undies (Boxer Brief, Trunk), we’ll provide a full return or exchange within 30 days. Please email support@krakatoaunderwear.com to start the process.

Please note: The Krakatoa No Bullshit Guarantee only applies to your first single (1) pair.

What is your Return Policy?

Your first pair of men’s underwear is covered under our Krakatoa No Bullshit Guarantee.

For all subsequent individual pairs of our boxer briefs, Trunks and Briefs, returns are accepted within 30 days of you receiving the product if they are: Unwashed, unworn and in the original condition you received them.

Email support@krakatoaunderwear.com to start the process.

For all returns and exchanges, it is your responsibility to pay for all shipping charges and to ship the product to PO Box 7356, Bellevue, WA 98008. We are not responsible for any returns or exchanges which do not arrive at our office.

Refunds
If you have issues with your Krakatoa Underwear, please contact us and we will work with you to find a perfect fit. If you still are not satisfied, please contact us within 30 days of your purchase and we will refund the price of the first pair of underwear. If you tried several pairs before contacting us, only the first pair will be covered by the Krakatoa No Bulshit Guarantee. Return shipping costs are not covered and the pair you used might have to be returned for a refund. When the returned item arrives at our offices, it will be destroyed and your refund will be issued.

 

Subscription Questions:

Is there a fee to subscribe to The Krakatoa Club?

Nope. There is no Membership fee on Krakatoa Club subscriptions.

You just pay for your most comfortable Boxer Briefs and Trunks plus any extras you add to your shipment.

If you subscribe to the Krakatoa Club, you even get a fat discount on your order.

How does the subscription plan work?

As a Krakatoa Club member, you unlock special pricing and automatically receive your Krakatoa Underwear on the scheduled delivery of your choice. No more excuses for bad underwear, always a new fresh pair arriving just in time for that special day.

To enroll, select “Subscribe & Save” on the checkout page. A confirmation of your subscription plan will be presented. To finalize, click on the “Add To Cart And Subscribe” button and check out.

If you'd like to change or cancel your subscription at any time, just go to your Account and check your subscriptions.

When can I expect my recurring shipments?

Your recurring billing date is determined by your original sign up date. For example, if you join on the 1st, your subsequent shipments will be billed and processed on the 1st of the month. Your Krakatoas will be delivered within 3 - 5 business days of your bill date.

If you would like to change your bill date to one that better suits you, please contact us we’d be happy to help.

I need new amazing underwear immediately, can you express ship them to me?

We don’t offer expedited shipping at this time, just the standard 3-5 business days.

However, if you need an emergency delivery of Krakatoa, contact us at support@krakatoaunderwear.com to get your order processed as soon as possible. We will do our best to send them your way as fast as we can!

Where are my Membership settings?

A link  to your account will appear towards the bottom of your Account Page as soon as your first order ships. This link allows you to adjust frequency or cancel your account. If you need to cancel before your first order ships, please contact us at support@krakatoaunderwear.com.

Please note: If you’d like to change or cancel your subscription plan, please make any updates at least a day before your ship date. For example, if you'd like to update your subscription order that is scheduled to be processed on August 1st, please make any necessary changes by July 31st .

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! Now you can put a volcano in your pants in several countries around the world! Just make sure your country is on the list of countries we ship to, at Checkout.
