Vesuvius Briefs

If you think the Vesuvius pouch might not be for you just because you're a grower or you are average (or both, like me!), then I'm here to tell you to reconsider. Vesuvius means the freedom to hang!

The Vesuvius briefs offers support and organization (to keep your balls from sticking to your legs) *even* if you don't fully fill the pouch. In this case, you get to enjoy some hang like you're in boxers within the confines and support of the pouch.

I came to Vesuvius briefs on the search for a brief style that allowed my balls room to hang like some of my favorite AC jocks. I do like the pouch on the Pinatubo briefs (and I own several of these!), but the Vesuvius gives my average dong some pleasant room to breathe and hang for days that I want that.

** A note on the stealth fly: I'm not a fan of the fly layers organizations. It's easy to slip your hand through the fly and miss your goods entirely when you need to throw a hand down there to reorganize. It takes some getting used to. This isn't enough to take away a star, but it is an annoyance.

After seeing several adds and then starting to see them on others I decided to give them a try. It did take a while to get or maybe I was just impatient to get them. They fit perfectly. The material is soft and hugging without being too tight. I love the fly design. It allows me to stay dressed during the work day (my shirt and undershirt stay tucked in) and still get access to pee when I need to.

I'd be interested in exploring more colors and designs.

The Krakatoa Vesuvius Briefs deliver an excellent balance of comfort, support, and style. The fabric is soft and smooth against the skin, and the waistband is a standout—it doesn’t dig in, leave marks, or fold over throughout the day. I also appreciate the solid color variety, which gives some nice options beyond the basics.

Fit-wise, these briefs do a great job. The full seat offers reliable coverage and stays in place, while the pouch provides comfortable support without being too tight or restrictive.

The only downside for me is the hidden fly. While I usually prefer briefs without a fly, the hidden fly sometimes bunches up and lacks the clean, form-fitting appearance I like. That said, it’s likely a personal preference, and others may appreciate the added function.

Overall, a high-quality, comfortable pair of briefs with thoughtful design—just one minor aesthetic quirk depending on your fly preference.
