Pinatubo Boxer Briefs - 5"

Krakatoa delivers on all of their promises. The fabric is soft and comfortable, the waistband does not fold under my tummy, the pouch is comfortable, supportive, and attractive, the colors are beautiful, and the length is perfect. The price is a little bit steep BUT worth every penny. I bought one pair as a test and immediately bought ten more after wearing them. I have already told others about them. 5/5, highly recommend.

Approaching 75 years old, I had never won boxer briefs before. I went into my big and tall store to be fitted for new clothes after having lost considerable weight to avoid chronic heath issues. The store used FiTMAP technology to scan my body, but first asked me to change into boxer briefs. I did and all my new clothes were a perfect fit. Those boxer briefs were not Krakatoa. I later saw your ads on Facebook, tried some, and loved them all in so many ways. The inside waistband inspirational words tickled my fancy as well! I've thrown out all my old tighty whities, and replaced them with two weeks' worth of Pinatubos.

I was instatntly obsessed with Krakatoa from the first time I tried them on, so much so I ordered another 6 immediately. It was a you don’t know what you don’t know kind of moment. They’re soft, comfortable, supportive the seams are spot on, the flys are good no matter which one you get. I have spent a long time stocking my underwear drawer with Tommy John’s, but the value proposition there was definitely faded. Unfortunately for them, they’re reminding me of the old Ditech commercials. “Lost another one to Krakatoa”

Only ask, is if there was a slightly shorter option for the boxer briefs, other than that, I’ll be back for more soon!

My oldest pair of Krakatoa is at least 4 or 5 years old and they don't look much different than the newest pairs that I bought a couple of weeks ago. The waist band looks and feels great on my oldest to newest. The material doesn't have any odd thin spots or wear. The legs are still nice and tight.

I have owned underwear from all of the major athletic brands, expensive brands that base their marketing around traveling, and several different versions of the separating boxer briefs that have great marketing. I do a ton of summer hiking and winter mountaineering, I lift weights several days a week, and I do some traveling around the world. I have never found boxer briefs that could do all three with ease until Krakatoa. I put them on and forget about them. They don't ride up my legs, the waistband doesn't roll or flip, the pouch area is excellent for allowing things to have some space without constricting, and they don't hold moisture at all. I can climb a mountain all day without any odd friction or needing to reposition anything. I can do deep squats without the legs getting stretched out or stuck higher up on my thigh. These really do perform as advertised and are incredibly comfortable.

The length is tricky for me and I have purchased several different variations trying to find what I like best. I wear a size M and own 7", 5", and trunks Pinatubo style. The trunks are a definite no for me because of the shape of my leg. The 5" are great when I am wearing shorts because…

These boxer briefs were everything I'd hoped for and more: soft and luxurious, so comfortable they felt almost nonexistent, reasonably priced, and nice-looking as well. For years I've been on an informal quest to find, if not the ultimate underwear, then at least some that I can reach for with confidence when I open my underwear drawer (my drawers drawer?). I'll try almost any new brand I run across, unless it's outrageously priced. The best ones I buy again and again, until another brand catches my attention. These boxer briefs - my style of choice these days - are a worthy addition to my collection.
